We are seeking a Service Support Assistant to join our Business Support Service team. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of data quality and supporting the Virtual School team with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Input data into various databases within specified timescales, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Improve data quality in key systems by adhering to agreed procedures.
  • Produce reports, manage emails, update spreadsheets, and present information as required.
  • Use a variety of software packages to a professional standard.
  • Maintain diaries, make appointments, and arrange meetings with both internal and external professionals.
  • Liaise with members of the public as necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate a busy incoming and outgoing inbox.
  • Record, track, progress, and prioritise work effectively.
  • Use initiative to resolve non-complex queries and problems independently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a similar setting.
  • Strong capability in using multiple software packages 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
