Job Title: Account Manager – £30,000 to £35,000 |

Location: Whetstone, Leicestershire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an Account Manager to join their fast-paced, friendly, and supportive team. If you’re a customer service professional with a knack for building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

 The Role:

As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll be the face of the business—helping clients feel supported and valued from day one - NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED 

Responsibilities include:

  • Becoming confident and knowledgeable in the full product and service range
  • Managing inbound customer queries via phone, email, and social media platforms
  • Accurately processing and recording orders and client specifications for production
  • Building long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Monitoring market trends and competitors, contributing ideas for new product introductions (NPIs)
  • Identifying upselling opportunities and maximising sales potential
  • Collaborating with internal teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Using initiative to resolve enquiries or complaints promptly
  • Supporting the business with other duties as needed

 What You’ll Need:

  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a professional approach
  • Prior experience in an Account Management or Client Engagement role
  • Commercial awareness and good business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills
  • Project management experience (advantageous)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative
  • Ability to multitask, adapt, and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
  • A full UK Driving Licence (occasional client visits or events may be required)
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a bonus but not essential
