Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + project profit related bonus

The role of the Contracts Manager Sports Surfaces will involve:
Contracts Manager position dealing with a range of sports facilities such as: natural turf pitches, athletics tracks, 3G pitches, hybrid turf pitches, MUGAs & courts
Managing all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage all the way through to the completion
Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
Procuring required materials to ensure project is completed smoothly
Overseeing project designs and making amendments where required
Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
Managing projects that range in value between £500k to £5m+
The ideal applicant will be Contracts Manager Sports Surfaces with:
Must have 5 + years Contracts Management experience within the civils or groundworks market sector
Ideally will have experience dealing with sports surfaces however this isnt essential
IT literate (Microsoft Programme, Word & Excel)
Full UK driving license
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
