Principal / Associate Structural Engineer

Up to 70k DOE plus benefits

Come join this dynamic and busy multi-discipline engineering consultancy on the outskirts of the city. Their buildings structures team is looking to appoint a Principal/Associate level Structural Engineer to undertake structural design on projects including commercial, industrial, education and residential up to multi million pounds in value.

About you:

  • Degree in civil or structural engineering with at least 9 years' experience within a UK consultancy
  • Chartered, MIStructE or ICE, or working towards
  • Extensive structural design experience in all traditional materials such as steel, concrete and timber
  • Able to manage design teams on multiple projects, focusing on managing resourcing to achieve successful project delivery
  • Mentor for junior members of your team, with an understanding of how to best help them progress
  • Able to represent our client at internal and external meetings and undertaking site visits to monitor progress
  • Check calculations, specifications, drawings and reports produced by others
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Proficient in TEDDs, Tekla and Revit
