Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed structural designs and appraisals using UK and European codes
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget
- Lead client meetings, providing technical expertise and solutions
- Design in materials such as steel, timber, masonry, and concrete, including refurbishment and new build structures
- Supervise junior engineers and CAD/Revit technicians, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations, BREEAM standards, and sustainability goals
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in structural engineering
- Chartered or near-chartered status (MICE/MIStructE)
- Experience in structural forensic analysis, masonry, timber, steel, and concrete design
- Full UK driving license and own transport
- Ability to lead and develop teams, with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
