Quality Assurance Technician

28,000 to 29,000 per annum depending on experience

Full time on site

Responsibilities:

  • H&S to be top priority in all aspect of the job
  • Responsible for responding to any emerging quality issues, containment issues and verification of any products or materials that do not meet the required standards and specification
  • Process validation, writing procedures and reports
  • Conducting various Internal audits (process and operational)
  • Update, review and maintenance of company's QMS procedures and manuals
  • Undertaking continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor and working towards Quality KPI's
  • Raising supplier nonconformities.
  • Enforce the quality disciplines and awareness of customer requirements throughout the business
  • Generate and issue quality statistics, quality KPIs, and communicate the findings across the teams
  • Investigating Customer complaints
  • Identify and advise your line manager of personal training requirements to ensure and enhance achievement of job role
  • Driving positive Quality culture across the site
  • Part of HACCP team to ensure process risks are identified in timely manner.
  • Understanding of customer and standards requirement and effectively implementing necessary process/ procedures.
  • Deputise Quality manager in his absence
