An established architectural design studio based in Leicester City Centre is seeking a qualified architect to join their dynamic team. The studio specialises in residential, commercial, and leisure developments, offering a comprehensive range of services from feasibility studies to technical design.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and imaginative team dedicated to creating buildings and spaces that positively contribute to local communities through strategic planning, sustainable design, and meticulous detailing.

Ideally you will be Midlands based as the studio is located in Leicester City Centre, however, the office operate a hybrid arrangement where 2-3 days can be made up from home.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • ARB registered with at least 5-10 years UK based architectural experience.
  • Manage and run projects independently, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Navigate planning processes and ensure compliance with British Standards building regulations.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and third-party professionals.
  • Oversee site activities, coordinating with project managers and contractors to ensure design integrity.
  • Proficiency in 3D ArchiCAD is essential.
  • Strong technical skill set with the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Comprehensive understanding of planning processes and UK building regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Site experience, including coordination with contractors and project managers.
