DT and Art Technician - West Leicestershire-based Secondary School

Job Description:Hays is in partnership with an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic DT and Art Technician to join our vibrant secondary school in West Leicestershire. The successful candidate will support the Design Technology and Art departments, ensuring that all practical lessons run smoothly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials and equipment for DT and Art lessons.
  • Maintain and organise the DT and Art classrooms and storage areas.
  • Assist teachers during practical lessons and demonstrations.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Provide technical support for students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
