Workshop Controller required in Leicester

up to £34,000 + Saturday overtime + OTE of £6,000

Monday to Friday, Saturday AM rota

Our client, a Franchised Main Dealer is expanding their workshop with a brand new role for a Workshop Controller/Senior Technician today.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to keep their hands on the tools whilst also pushing the team forward to deliver for themselves and the business. You will be at the forefront of the workshop, leading from the front and being the 'go-to' within the department. Each day will be different, varying upon the workload and each technical issue that comes into the workshop. This is a strong manufacturer that has a strong lineage with genuine support coming from their head office on all faults/training required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the workshop to ensure efficient workflow
  • Manage, coach, and motivate a team of technicians to deliver high-quality work
  • Ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff, ensuring excellent service
  • Where required service and repair vehicles

To be considered for the role you will require recent exposure within a Workshop Controller capacity within a Franchised Dealership. Due to its technical requirements, you will also need to hold full vehicle qualifications.
