This is an excellent chance to join a dynamic project in a growing field, with full expenses, travel time, and accommodation provided.Role Details:Locations: Part in Leicester, part in Oldham, with potential for other UK locations. Flexibility to travel and stay away during the week is essential (no weekend work planned currently).Approx £30 per hour (umbrella) per hour - PAYE options available Contract Duration: Estimated 12 months.Hours: 50 hours per week (10 hours per day, including travel time). Paid from the time you leave your house or hotel until your return.Accommodation and Expenses: Hotels, food, petrol, and other expenses covered in line with Wabtec policy.Van Provided: Includes a fuel card for work purposes (no private use allowed).Tooling: Candidates must provide hand tools; job-specific tools will be supplied.Key Responsibilities:Perform modifications on bus charging stations, including drilling out units, replacing components, and changing electrical brushes.Carry out both mechanical and electrical tasks as required.Work flexibly across Leicester until the end of February, then transition to Oldham, with further travel possible.Ideal Candidate:Experience in both mechanical and electrical work.Previous experience with vehicles, buses, or rolling stock would be highly beneficial.Flexible and willing to travel to various locations as needed.Comfortable working away from home during the week when required.
