Treasury Associate

Broster Buchanan are hiring for a Treasury Associate position for a leading financial services company based in the East Midlands.This is a permanent full-time role paying circa £34k-£40k plus benefits package.Working closely with the Group Treasury Manager and the wider treasury team, the Treasury Associate with take on a wide variety of tasks, from daily paymentprocessing requirements to assisting with the active management of the group’s cash and liquidity position, for both corporate and trustee balances in line with Treasury policy.The day-to-day responsibilities include:- working with the Treasury colleagues across all aspects of daily Group cash and liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and reporting requirements, including liquidity management strategies- contributing to multiple cash workstreams, including development and ownership of processes and related reporting as required- bank account management; including administration of users and management and optimisation of Mattioli Woods’ account structure- working with Treasury colleagues to process, review and authorise corporate and trustee related banking payments, to ensure delivery of a seamless client service- manage new client requirements, analyse utilisation trends, and proactively drive remedial or improvement actions- champion the team’s risk management culture, ensuring procedures are fit forpurpose are documented and applied, related controls are suitable and effective- manage stakeholder relationships from both an internal and external perspectiveIn addition to excellent career progression - with fantastic opportunities for promotion - training, support, and a great office environment, you will also receive a great benefits package including the following:- group pension- life assurance- income protection- health cash plan- selection of flexible benefits The company are looking for someone with circa 2-3 years experience in a treasury or similar finance role, ideally with some experience working in regulated environments.Its an excellent opportunity for a treasury analyst / assistant who is looking to progress their career to the next level by taking on a wider role, gaining experience in new areas.But its also a fantastic position for someone looking for a role with a strong work/life balance and an enjoyable environment where they can build their career in the long term.Apply now to find out more and to view the full job description.
