A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, team-oriented Accounts professional to join a very friendly, successful business in South Leicestershire on a full time, permanent basis. The role would suit an experienced finance accounts manager / management accountant who is detail oriented, efficient and enjoys being part of a pro-active, hard-working team.
The business is financially secure, successful and is keen to identify an individual that can really support in the growth and development of the team, and through preparing and analysing financial information, support senior leadership to make those important strategic decisions to maintain growth and profitability.
It is important that you have leadership skills to support the small, close-knit team, and ideally your experience will be supported through relevant qualifications, either qualified or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, however relevant experience will also be considered. In addition to monthly VAT submissions, managing expenses, approving credit terms and limits for new customers, purchasing currency and accurate and timely reconciliation, and some credit control experience, preference will be given to candidates experienced with SAGE, inventory accounting and activity-based costing. Exceptional communication, organisational and inter-personal skills will be required, and this will be supported by very strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
It is important that you have a flexible approach to your duties, are an engaging and supportive manager with personal drive, energy and integrity and enjoy leading a team to achieve results.
