This is an exciting new role to work for a well known beauty brand. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of developing relationships with the key retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges, Harrods to name a few! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager to join our team and drive growth across our key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with major national retail accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability within the FMCG sector.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, promotional planning, and joint business planning sessions with key accounts.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and provide accurate sales forecasts to optimize account performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account plans.
  • Customer Insights: Utilize customer insights and market data to drive category growth and recommend product innovations.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on account performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from sales data.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
