Finance Administrator

Macildowie are delighted to be working with a professional and supportive business based in Leicester City Centre to recruit a Finance Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing finance team with a strong track record of developing talent internally.

The role offers a salary of £25,000 and the benefit of hybrid working (after initial training), with an excellent office culture and ongoing professional development - including AAT study support.

The Role:

As Finance Administrator, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the accounts function. You'll be working closely with finance colleagues, internal departments, and external suppliers to support the purchase ledger and credit control processes.

Duties Include:

• Processing high volumes of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail

• Managing the shared finance inbox and responding to internal/external supplier queries

• Supplier statement reconciliation and resolving any discrepancies

• Supporting the aged creditor process with follow-up and reporting

• General finance administration and ad-hoc support to the wider team

Who We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a finance or admin-based role preferred

• Strong administrators with a proactive mindset will be considered

• Recent graduates with a placement year in finance or business are also encouraged to apply

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
