About the Role: FRS Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious legal firm in Leicester, to find a skilled Legal Cashier. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in financial management within a legal environment, looking to contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions accurately, including client payments, invoices, and disbursements.
  • Maintain client and office accounts in compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
  • Liaise with solicitors and clients regarding financial queries and account balances.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience gained within a law firm or a knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules desirable but not a prerequisite for candidates wishing to apply
  • Strong understanding of legal accounting principles and SRA regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software’s and MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
