Overview
We are seeking a Machine Operator/Setter to join our client dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including mills and other fabrication equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
- Utilise SolidWorks and CAD software for designing and modifying tooling as required.
- Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
- Conduct basic maths calculations for measurements and adjustments during production processes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the fabrication of components as needed, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of materials handling processes and techniques.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Shift :
12hrs 4 continental shifts rotating days and nights
36 hour working week, with plenty of overtime available
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.72-£13.44 per hour
