Class 1 Tramper Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experiencedClass 1 Tramper Driverto join our team based in Coventry. The role will involve operatingwalking floor trailersto transportplastic balesto variousrecycling centres and distribution centresand returning with loose materials. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering stability and career progression after a successful 12-week period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles with walking floor trailers.
• Transport plastic bales to recycling and distribution centres.
• Load and unload loose materials for return trips.
• Carry out tramping duties (overnight stays) Monday to Friday.
• Ensure timely and professional deliveries while adhering to all transport regulations and safety standards.
• Accurately complete relevant paperwork for each job.

Requirements:

• Must beover 30 years old(insurance requirement).
• Hold a validClass 1 (C+E) licencewith a minimum of2 years' driving experience.
• Previous experience withwalking floor trailersis highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Must have a validCPC(Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) andDigi Tacho Card.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to spend nights away from home (Monday to Friday).

Benefits:

• 16 per hour PAYE(increasing to18 per hourafter 12 weeks).
• 30 night-out allowanceper night.
