Class 2 driver

Job Ad: Class 2 Driver – Leicester
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Hours: 4am – 1pm, 8-hour day, 40 hours per week

We are looking for Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Leicester. This role offers variety and flexibility, with two main runs and the opportunity for additional warehouse or LGV duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Week 1:

Drive a 26-tonne vehicle on a round trip from Leicester to Luton, leaving at approximately 4:30am. You may have additional drops on the return journey and will be expected to assist with warehouse or other LGV driver duties after the trip.

• Week 2:

Drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle on a round trip to Nottingham, leaving Leicester at approximately 4:30-5am. After completing the trip, you will assist with warehouse duties or undertake other LGV driver tasks.

• Rotation:

Drivers will alternate between the Luton and Nottingham runs each week to ensure full coverage in case of holidays or absences.

Requirements:

• Class 2 Driving License (C)
• Experience driving 26T vehicles
• Flexibility to undertake warehouse work or additional LGV driving duties
• Ability to start shifts early (4am start)
