Candidates should have experience working in schools or colleges and ideally hold an NVQ level 2 in Carpentry.
An active DBS is required, or candidates must be willing to undergo one upon employment.

I am currently looking for a Carpenter to work for a local authority in the Leicester area. The role is on the maintenance team doing planned and reactive repairs.

In the Carpenter role you will be responsible for:

2nd fix carpentry work such as hanging/fixing doors, kitchen repairs, skirting boards and architraves
Working around young people
Basic caretaker duties

The right Carpenter will have:

Experience working in schools/colleges in the past
NVQ level 2 ideally in Carpentry
Active DBS or willing to have one undertaken upon employment
