Your new roleHays are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Joiner on behalf of our client, to join their Leicester team on a permanent contract, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out response plumbing maintenance tasks within social housing properties across the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire region. Job Role: Multi-Trade Joiner

Start Date: January 2025

Hours: Full-time: Monday- Friday- 8- 4:30

Call out rota can be confirmed

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Up to £31808 per annumResponsibilities

  • Reactive and planned joinery works and building maintenance
  • Domestic joinery skill-set is required for kitchen fitting, flooring and door repairs.
  • Liaise with the Customer Care team to provide the best assistance for each customer.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Travel to different sites according to your rota, with quarterly sector reviews to ensure efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualification in Carpentry, NVQ level 2 or Equivalent. Relevant time served experience, with references. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Smartphone/tablet literate is desirable
  • You must hold a full UK driving licence E A/I
  • Willingness to carry out a variety of tasks, not all joinery related.
  • Demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to an appropriate standard.
