The Company:

Our client is a Leicester based joinery company who produce high end commercial bespoke joinery projects.

The Assembler Role:

We are currently recruiting for Trainee Bench Joiners to join our client based in Leicester. You will be fully trained in the skill of bench joinery and working with wood to produce high end commercial bespoke joinery projects.

You will go through a 2 Year in-house training programme which will ultimately result in you becoming a fully skilled Bench Joiner.

Some of the elements of the programme include:-

Wood work to make bespoke furniture and joinery projects
Working with MDF & Laminates
Reading and understanding technical drawings
Comprise, read and interpret cutting lists
Assembly of furniture
Use of hand and power tools
Fill sand and finish wooden products
Work in a safe manner, adhering to company procedures
Good communications skills
A team player with a strong work ethic.
Able to work amongst a team.
The Candidate:

Have previous experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment is beneficial
Ability to stand on feet for majority of the day
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Work well as part of a team
Willingness to learn
Excellent attendance and timekeeping
Basic Maths and English
