The Company:

Our client is a Leicester based joinery company who produce high end commercial bespoke joinery projects.

The Assembler Role:

We are currently recruiting for Trainee Bench Joiners to join our client based in Leicester. You will be fully trained in the skill of bench joinery and working with wood to produce high end commercial bespoke joinery projects.

You will go through a 2 Year in-house training programme which will ultimately result in you becoming a fully skilled Bench Joiner.

Some of the elements of the programme include:-

Wood work to make bespoke furniture and joinery projectsWorking with MDF & LaminatesReading and understanding technical drawingsComprise, read and interpret cutting listsAssembly of furnitureUse of hand and power toolsFill sand and finish wooden productsWork in a safe manner, adhering to company proceduresGood communications skillsA team player with a strong work ethic.Able to work amongst a team.The Candidate:

Have previous experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment is beneficialAbility to stand on feet for majority of the dayExcellent communication skills both written and verbalWork well as part of a teamWillingness to learn Excellent attendance and timekeepingBasic Maths and English
