Want an exciting role in a fun, vibrant environment with great team spirit and mouth-watering benefits to match? The Hilton Leicester are looking for a Sous Chef to bring modern cooking techniques to this 180 bedroom hotel, with large meeting and event space.

Whilst this role will predominantly be Restaurant/Banquet focussed you will be expected to deputise in the Head Chefs absence, as well as take on other duties around the Kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Head Chef with the day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Helping to drive service at the highest level Ensuring consistent quality standards is maintained Training Junior members of the team
  • At all times ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met.
  • Assisting the Head Chef in implementation of COSHH and Health & Safety rules
  • Maintain a consistently smooth-running operation.
  • Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from the kitchen

Requirements:

  • Be an experienced Sous Chef who has been used to working in hotels.
  • Familiar with financial reporting, budgeting and labour productivity.
  • Experience with training, coaching, and strong leadership skills
  • Outstanding work ethic Guest-focused and service-driven.
Full Time - Permanent
