My client islooking for a skilled Domestic Gas Installer to join their fantastic team working in the Leicester area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to domestic property sector by delivering high-quality gas installations and maintenance. The role is permanent, with a competitive salary starting at 40.000
Key Responsibilities:
- Install domestic gas systems and appliances (boilers, cookers, fires, etc.) in social housing properties.
- Conduct gas safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on gas systems and appliances.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of gas installations as required.
- Ensure all work is compliant with Gas Safe regulations and relevant building codes.
- Work in a customer-focused manner, liaising with tenants and housing officers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards in line with company policy and legal requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Gas Safe Registration(essential).
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, etc.) with proven experience in domestic gas installations and servicing.
- Experience working in social housing
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and current building standards.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with residents.
- Full UK driving license (essential for traveling between properties).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
