SF Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturing company based in Leicester. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager. As Account Manager you will support with the Sales and margin value growth, manage the Value of Pipeline and be involved in the Achievement of SMART objectives linked to the Business Growth Plan Skills and Experience required as the Account Manager: - An excellent communicator who listens and uses these skills to negotiate effectively and develop genuine and progressive product sales. - A result orientated, adaptable and creative person who demonstrates an eagerness and willingness to learn the detail of product ranges to communicate and influence customer sales. - Demonstrates good business judgement can understand the process of production and manufacturing and how this can affect delivery and pricing sales growth and profitability. - Has experience of a distributor sales environment (as opposed to end user) and knowledge of both Home and Export markets. Key areas of Responsibility as the Account Manager: - Grow sales and margin % by achieving improved pipeline value and creating new opportunities with existing customers to maximise profitability. - Develop new customer relationships which deliver target growth, in specific target markets. - Conduct contract reviews on all tenders and new business. - Identify any gaps in the product range and make recommendations for new products based on genuine intel and customer requirements. - Report on how you can grow sales and identify any barriers, using competitor and other information to support any recommendations. - Ensure customer expectations are understood and communicate any specific requests internally so that excellent customer satisfaction is consistently achieved. - Prepare and regularly report on KPI's including sales forecasts and performance to plan, market conditions and pricing.
