Area Sales Manager - Trainee

Up to £30K + uncapped commission
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
Macildowie are thrilled to be working with a construction business who are looking for a Trainee Area Sales Manager, you will be given full training and support to develop into a successful sales professional. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in sales, with a structured progression plan and the opportunity to earn uncapped commission. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the company's products/services to confidently sell to potential clients.
- Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Attend client meetings and presentations, both virtually and in person.
- Work towards and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Receive ongoing training and coaching to enhance your sales techniques.
What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a target-driven environment.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- No previous sales experience is required - just a positive attitude and a desire to succeed!
- A full UK driving licence
