Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global, market leading manufacturer in the wastewater industry.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager shall be fully remote covering East Midlands and East Anglia ,responsible for new business development and key account management with major customers for various pump products and systems including industrial pumps, submersible pumps, metering pumps, food / hygienic pumps & more into various industries, predominantly wastewater via end users.

The ideal Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have a strong sales background in pumps, wastewater or sewage sectors working closely with end users and contractors.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development ManagerRole
  • Manage a number of established key accounts and new business development via end user and OEM customers within the pumps sector.
  • Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical pumping solutions within the wastewater industry.
  • Sell a range ofindustrial pumps, submersible pumps, metering pumps, food / hygienic pumps & more into various industries.
  • Maintain new pump system sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Fully remote coveringEast Midlands and East Anglia.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development ManagerRequirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer within pumps and / or wastewater sectors.
  • Experience selling, managing or servicing pumps or similar mechanical engineering products & applications in the wastewater industry.
  • Pump Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress in to sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to visit wastewater and sewage sites daily.
  • A technical engineering degree, HND, HNC would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Homebased, willingness to travel to customer sites across East Midlands and East Anglia
