The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager willideallyhave experience selling or managing key accounts within industrial automation and instrumentation such as valves, pneumatics, actuators, sensors, switchgear, ac dc systems, control panels or similar mechanical engineering products.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
  • Will have a primary focus on selling and managing key accounts within theIndustrial Automation and Instrumentation industry via distribution channels and OEM customers.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various automation products such as valves, machine vision, sensors, actuators, pneumatics, AC DC motors, pumps, instrumentation and related products or systems.
  • Maintaining sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Work remotely covering the Midlands - Birmingham, Nottingham, Leciester, and surrounding areas with regular visits to customer sites.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within industrial automation or a similar industry.
  • Experience selling industrial automation products such as valves, pneumatics, actuators, sensors, switchgear, ac dc systems, control panels or similar mechanical engineering products gearboxes, compressed air, filtration, or similar mechanical engineering related products and services.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within the Industrial Automation marketplace.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification is highly desirable
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the Midlands
