Business Development Manager

Field-Based (Leicester)Up to £25,000 + Company Car & Commission (OTE £35,000-£50,000)

Elevation Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join a well-established family-run business in the Waste sector. As part of a dynamic sales team, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth across Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, door-to-door visits, and other lead generation methods
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by managing your own sales pipeline
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal departments
  • Utilise CRM system to track and manage leads effectively
  • Support the Sales Manager and collaborate with colleagues on various sales-related tasks

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the Waste Management sector
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in contracted services
  • Resilient attitude and ability to handle objection
  • Confident using online platforms and social media for prospecting
  • Excellent communication skills, confident, and persistence
  • Team player with a positive and ambitious "can do" attitude
  • Self-motivated and determined to go the extra mile to build long-lasting client relationships
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience (preferred)
  • Full UK driving license
