Business Development Manager

East Midlands, hybrid/remote

£45,000 - £50,000 DOE

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Macildowie are working with a well-established and rapidly growing business within the food and beverage sector. With a strong presence across multiple locations, they are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. Their focus on innovation and franchisee support has driven consistent growth, and they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen their existing network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify growth opportunities by analyzing store performance data and pinpointing areas for improvement and expansion within the existing estate.
  • Develop strategic initiatives to boost sales, enhance customer experience, and increase store efficiency.
  • Work closely with franchisees, understanding their challenges and providing tailored growth solutions.
  • Conduct market research to assess trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities that impact store performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to implement growth initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and use data insights to refine strategies.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, and business models to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the execution of growth initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and training to franchisees on growth strategies and customer engagement.
  • Ensure all initiatives align with corporate standards and brand guidelines.

The Candidate:

  • At least five years of experience in business development, preferably within the food or retail sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that drive growth in existing businesses.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with franchisees.
