Main Responsibilities:
- Maximise sales and profitability in international markets by managing and developing relationships with key customers and distributors.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
- Serve as a regular and clear point of communication between customers and the International Sales Manager.
- Regularly interact with the customer base to track and enhance sales performance, gaining valuable market insights.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of international orders, from raising quotes to final delivery.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Update and maintain accurate customer data using Sage.
- Interact with customers through email, calls, and video conferencing.
- Provide holiday cover for the International Team and support the UK Customer Service Team with overflow calls as needed.
- Perform additional duties required to support the role and department.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an account management role, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proven ability to achieve targets and drive sales growth.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience conducting virtual meetings via video calls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve objectives.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
- Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure and juggle priorities to meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a proven ability to support and sell effectively.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Commercial awareness.
- Familiarity with the education industry.
- Basic understanding of international logistics.
