Marketing Manager

Macildowie is proud to be recruiting on behalf of an esteemed client for the position of Marketing Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking institution, driving impactful marketing and recruitment initiatives for an exciting project as it reaches the height of its campaign.

The role is on a 6 months temporary basis and will be paying between £20 - £22 per hour. The role is very flexible with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week and 1-2 days in the office in Leicestershire.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive marketing plans aimed at both global and domestic markets. The role will require leadership in creating impactful campaigns, digital and print content, advertising strategies, and event coordination to achieve recruitment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion the unique identity of the project, integrating it seamlessly with the broader brand and strategic goals.
  • Develop and execute an annual marketing and recruitment plan to meet company wide targets.
  • Lead on the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, web activities, advertising campaigns, and innovative social media strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
  • Oversee portfolio reviews and subject-specific marketing, ensuring alignment with market insights and trends.
  • Plan and manage key events, ensuring they deliver outstanding experiences
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on marketing strategies and recruitment activities.
  • Leverage data and market insights to inform decision-making and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor budget allocations and ensure all marketing activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering high-impact marketing campaigns, ideally within the education sector or large, complex organisation
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including social media management, CRM platforms, and content creation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track-record of working successfully with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate marketing performance and recommend data-driven improvements.
