Sonic Summary

The National Sales Manager position in Roofing & Building Products offers a salary range of £50,000 - £60,000 plus a 25% bonus.
This role requires candidates to have field sales experience in the building products or roofing sector, ideally with people management experience.
The successful applicant will manage a team of 3 Area Sales Managers and 1 internal sales person while also handling their own sales area.
Candidates should be comfortable with extensive travel, as 70% of their time will be spent on the road.
The position is open to individuals with a strong network in roofing and builders merchants, and a proactive, 'go-getter' attitude is essential.

Area to be covered: National (ideally based South Yorkshire / Midlands however open)Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + 25% bonus Benefits: company car, private medical healthcare, life insurance, 24 days holiday and usual field sales benefitsThe role of the National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products will involve:

National Sales Manager position promoting a range of distributed pitched roofing solutions such as slates, tiles and accessories
Managing a team of 3 ASM’s & 1 internal sales person
Will have your own area to look after as well as manage the sales team / strategy
90% selling to roofing and builders merchants such as: SIG, MKM, Jewson, Travis Perkins, Eurocell, Huws Gray etc
The remaining 10% selling to roofing contractors and architects
70% of your time travelling

The ideal applicant will be an National Sales Manager - Roofing & Building Products with:

Must have field sales experience in the building products / roofing sector
Ideally roofing product experience
Ideally people management experience (would consider a Regional Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Manager)
Ideally contacts in roofing / builders merchants as such as; SIG & Eurocell
Be comfortable with occasional overnight stays where needed
A hungry 'go-getter’ attitude
