Regional Sales Manager - EV (hybrid working)

Our client is a highly recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their position within the UK motorcycle sector, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for delivering the wholesale and retail sales

for the UK.

You will be responsible for achieving sales targets in the EV motorcycle and relating GMA business specifically. In addition, you will provide support to the leadership and stakeholders in continuous development, mainly working with operational activities related to the demand analysis for EV Motorcycles, guarantee of minimum stock (availability at Dealers), competitive analysis of products, allocation control and support to new dealer's development, including action plans and legal notifications if required.

Key Responsibilities

-    Act as a product expert

-    Ensure the achievement of the goals, dealer profitability and growth for wholesale and retail

-    Oversee the management and generation of leads by planning and implementing sales promotional activities to generate new leads as well as follow-up with existing leads to improve the sales funnel efficiency

-    Conduct Motorcycles demand analysis, forecast and support the dealer in the management of demand and stock items

-    Design and execute a monthly Marketing Plan for dealers 'activities

-    Provide suggestions towards sales incentives and launch regional sales campaigns

-    Ensure proper credit limit (floorplan) for a healthy dealer operation

-    Establish strong working relations with the dealer's principals and dealer's staff

-    Assist with Business consulting and Negotiation of Dealers Annual Plan for the region

-    Track customer satisfaction by ensuring that the sales staff offer test-ride for customers and are recording their impressions and personal details

-    Ensure continuous improvement of customer satisfaction by attending to customer complaints on a timely basis

-    Evaluate and assess candidates before presentation as prospective new dealers

-    Ensure provision of training related to brand history, sales and product knowledge for dealer teams

-    Implement new systems or processes related to the management of Sales

-    Ensure dealers are working in accordance to company policies and procedures established by the dealer agreement and report any deviations

-    Build knowledge about the product and analyse the potential of the regional market and business as well as its seasonality

-    Develop the dealer network, making them stable sales channels, motivated to introduce new products in the market

-    Prepare MIS/ dashboards and reports on a weekly/ monthly basis

In addition:

-    Manage relations between the manufacturer and its dealer network in area using proactive planning, dealer visits, virtual visits and effective remote management.

-    Manage communication between the manufacturer, distributor and dealer network within the area of issues affecting the dealer business.

-    Share best practice both within the area and nationally.

-    Manage and address the needs of the dealers within area

-    Work across the organisation

With a degree in business, marketing or a technical field; you will have/should be:

-    Demonstrable experience working in the Motorcycle industry with dealer management experience - car retail experience development and management may be considered. This should be with EV based products.

-    Understanding of dealership operations.

-    Comfortable to work independently in a dynamic environment.

-    Established credibility by delivering results through consulting and counselling business owners.

-    Good networking and PR skills and personal stature to represent the manufacturer.

-    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
