Business Development Manager

Nottingham, office based (1 day per week from home)

Up to £50,000

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Macildowie are thrilled to be supporting a leading digital learning business in their search for a Business Development Manager.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth by managing existing accounts and onboarding new business within the ever growing software industry.

The candidate:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets through proactive client management and new business development.
  • Research and segment accounts to develop tailored sales strategies.
  • Generate leads via multiple channels: direct calling, digital marketing, and networking.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from client meetings to commercial proposals.
  • Track sales activities in the CRM, report on progress, and regularly submit forecasts.

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales within bespoke software solutions
  • Consultative sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical, organised, and proactive in selling bespoke digital solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
