Certain Advantage is hiring for a Technical Sales Manager based in the UK, ideally in the Midlands.

This role is on a permanent basis and is remote, with frequent travel to client sites.

The Company

We're working with a well-established business which is currently experiencing rapid and sustained growth, manufacturing and supplying a range of advanced materials and products into arboriculture, civil engineering and construction markets. This is a highly reputable SME, which has recently moved into purpose-built facilities, offering a role which enables development, in a collaborative, friendly and vibrant culture.

The Role:

This role is for someone with experience in Technical Account Management / Sales / Specification Sales, looking for a dynamic role with a rapidly growing business.

  • Establish new specifications, and identify potential projects
  • Develop the tree root protection line of products for the business
  • Develop new and existing client relationships
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical and product assistance
  • Attend site at various intervals - including at site assessments, and at key project milestones
  • Maintain and increase the conversion of technical recommendations to orders
  • Increase brand awareness within Construction / Civil Engineering sectors
The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

  • Technical Sales / Account Management experience
  • Full UK Driving license, happy with nationwide travel
  • Experience selling into & working with Civil engineering contractors / architects / consulting engineers / councils and agencies
  • Ideally a background in Arboriculture, and / or Construction and / or Civil Engineering
