- £28,000 - £30,000 per annum with performance-based bonuses
As a Trainee Sales Team Leader, you will work closely with the Directors and receive dedicated mentorship to develop your leadership skills. You will lead and motivate a small sales team, driving performance and fostering a collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their leadership career in a supportive and fast-paced setting, however, will still involve the day-to-day sales duties in order to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, mentor and motivate a small team of sales executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Drive sales performance through effective goal-setting, coaching and performance monitoring.
- Develop your own sales pipeline, leading by example
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for your team.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the Directors to implement strategic sales initiatives and contribute to business growth.
- Support key client relationships and assist in identifying new business opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience within a B2B setting is ESSENTIAL
- A strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to coach others.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ambition and eagerness to step into a leadership role.
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues is a plus.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn under close mentorship.
