My client, a successful Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Leicester, is actively seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing Civil and Structural designs for large-scale projects across sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, and education.

Key Responsibilities for the Associate Structural Engineer:

  • Lead structural design and analysis, ensuring all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Supervise and review work by junior engineers, offering guidance on design calculations, modelling, and analysis.
  • Ensure project documentation meets internal and client-specific quality control requirements.
  • Track project scope, addressing any deviations or necessary adjustments with the project team and clients.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, design updates, and feasibility assessments for clients and stakeholders.

Essential Criteria for this Role:

  • A relevant degree in Structural Engineering (e.g., BEng/MEng).
  • At least 9 years of industry experience.
  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Design experience with materials including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
