My client has an immediate vacancy for a civil engineer or senior civil engineer聽to work within their experienced Leicester civil engineering design team.
Responsibilities
聽
路The role will involve the design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private externals works, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption.
路The role will also include the design and drafting of civil engineering works for a variety of sectors.
路Designs range from multi-storey structures to small housing schemes and range in construction value from 拢250,000 to 拢30M.
路Many projects are undertaken to BIM level 2.
路The team works for clients throughout the East Midlands and United Kingdom.
路They design SuDS drainage schemes and highway works using Microdrainage and PDS industry standard software with final drawings produced in AutoCAD.
路The role will also involve the planning and organisation of tasks, people and resources to deliver projects on time and in accordance with the current design guidelines.

Experience

路The role would suit an experienced engineer or senior civil engineer.
路The successful candidate will be given on the job training to develop their skills and they will work closely with the other members of the civil engineering team.
路Client care is of paramount importance to them as a company and the successful candidate will be an able communicator, both in written English and verbally, in person and on the telephone.
路Knowledge of the construction industry and basic health and safety is essential.
路A logical analytical approach to problem solving should be demonstrated.
路Specific experience in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing will need to be demonstrated at interview.
路Experience in the use of Microdrainage and PDS is required.
路Civils 3D would be advantageous.

路A strong background of English, Mathematics and a logical analytical approach to problem solving should be demonstrated.
路The successful candidate will be qualified as noted above, computer literate, being fully competent in the use of Word and Excel.
