The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager, to join a well-established business that is market leader within HVAC & building services solutions. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established and supportive team at their facility in Leicester.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of projects within defined time-lines, budgets and quality standards.
- Management the team to ensure maximum project engagement.
- Be a strong on site presence throughout installation, commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate labour needs- both employed team members and subcontractors.
- Work with procurement to ensure necessary materials are available for each project.
- Identify areas for improvement and share lessons learnt across the business.
- Provide leadership support and guidance to the project team.
The Person
- Experienced within a Project Manager position
- Ideally from a HVAC background although other building services / construction experience will be considered.
- Proven track record planning, executing and closing projects successfully.
- Commercially aware
