Summary

Are you a skilled P6 Planner looking for an exciting opportunity in the utilities industry? Our client, a well-established organisation in the utilities sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a P6 Planner on a temporary basis. As a P6 Planner, you will play a key role in providing development, tendering, and construction planning expertise for Electricity Transmission projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with key stakeholders to establish timelines for the production of quality assured and cost-loaded deliverable programmes.
  • Supporting the Contracts team specialists in evaluating tender returns and ensuring that contractors understand their obligations.
  • Owning all aspects of the planning process, from integrated programmes to critical paths.
  • Ensuring compliance with cost loading of programmes and maintaining accurate data capture and reporting.
  • Analysing and providing feedback on contractor programmes, including update on schedule risks and mitigation measures.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of planning-related processes and expertise in critical path analysis, earned value management techniques, and risk mitigation. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders is also essential.
