First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer in Leicester who is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a chance to contribute to impactful projects within Custodial, Education, Commercial, Leisure, and so much more.
You will be an experienced Principal Engineer with strong skills in producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for projects of varying size, type, and complexity. In this role, you will lead a team of designers and liaise and maintain close relationships with clients.
What we need from you:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered status (CEng / IEng) required
- Good understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts
- Confident liaising with new and existing clients and working alongside internal and external teams
- Excellent communicator, capable problem solver and able to lead a team effectively
