Role: Site Engineer

Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor

Location: Leicester

Project: Water Treatment Facility

Day rate: 300 - 400 PAYE / Ltd

Randstad are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work in Leicester on a large scale Water Treatment Facility for a Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site surveys, prepare detailed engineering plans, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports on project progress, including site diaries, measurements, and quality checks.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in water treatment or related infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools for site planning and management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
