Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct site surveys, manage setting out, leveling, and ensure accuracy of all construction works.
- Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure efficient work processes.
- Monitor progress and prepare daily reports on site activities, ensuring health & safety standards are met.
- Liaise with the project manager to track project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within large-scale water or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent understanding of water infrastructure construction processes, drainage systems, and civil engineering techniques are essential
- Proficient in the use of surveying and setting-out equipment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams on-site.
- Thorough knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification desirable.
