Location: Site based, covering the East Midlands.
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 DO, plus £4500 car allowance and a bonus scheme.
Contract: Full time, permanent. Mon – Thurs 08:30 – 17:00, Fri 08:30-16:30. 1 Hour for Lunch Each Day.

Domestic Energy / Retrofit Assessor – About the role:
We are currently seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Energy Assessor. This role will involve conducting retrofit assessments to secure funding for energy efficiency improvements. We support continuous professional development (CPD) to ensure the individual is upskilled and stays ahead in the sector. Training in additional skills, such as air tightness testing, will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct energy assessments in accordance with PAS2035:2019 requirements and Accreditation Body standards.
• Use in-house or customer-provided solutions to perform energy assessments for SHDF/ECO4/GBIS funding.
• Travel within the West Yorkshire region to conduct energy assessments for Sustainable Energy Services and Sustainable Building Services.
• Visit properties that require energy assessments to support reviews and identify homes in need of energy efficiency upgrades.
• Collaborate with subcontracted Retrofit Coordinators to ensure seamless delivery of funding requirements, particularly with Trustmark lodgement.
• Coordinate diaries with the Sustainable Energy Services team, Local Site Managers, and Tenant Liaison Officers to access residents’ homes at appropriate times.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is correctly collected and administrated for review by relevant parties, including administrators, Retrofit Coordinators, or managers.
• Maintain a presentable, punctual, and professional demeanour when engaging with residents, customers, and company staff.
• Communicate weekly availability and plans to management to support effective capacity management.
Experience & Qualifications:
• At least 2 years’ experience in surveying or assessing properties for energy efficiency improvements.
• A Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment or Retrofit Assessment is essential.
• Full UK drivers’ licence.
