Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager

Salary: £60,000

FTC - 12 months

Location: East Midlands

We have an exciting opportunity for a business development professional working in the accountancy qualification delivery sector. You will be promoting qualifications and services to accountancy practices, businesses and public sector employers in the East Midlands area.

Your aim will be to represent and grow awareness of this global brand, its values, and initiatives in the region by providing excellent client relationship management to support employers who already recruit and train accountancy students.

Key Responsibilities for a Regional Business Development Manager:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employers within the region and ensure that clients are fully informed of all relevant developments and information.
  • Develop strategic plans for high potential clients to maximise growth in student numbers.
  • Identify potential employers using targeted lead generation, working with the visit scheduling team, conducting meetings in-person and virtually and giving presentations to influence decision-makers on training policy and recruitment.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders such as tuition providers to be agile in lead generation and conversion and to share insight.
  • Assist the Senior Regional Business Development Manager and Director of Business Development and Client Relationships in implementing the business development strategy, to enable the operational plan to be achieved and ensure market increase.
  • When required represent the Business Development team at cross-project meetings to share insights, deliver process improvements, campaigns or new products / services.
  • Provide specific monthly and quarterly management information as requested by the Senior Regional Business Development Managers. To include progress against strategy, targets, KPI’s and budget.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings in order to develop and share knowledge and skills with the rest of the UK BD team

Essential Skills for a Regional Business Development Manager:

  • Experience of business development and account management
  • Time spent in education, training, professional services, professional bodies, accountancy or apprenticeships would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of digital meeting platforms such as Teams.
  • Proven track record of lead generation and sales conversion.
  • Excellent Microsoft office suite skills including experience of using CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics
