CNC Machinist / CNC Wood Machinist. Our client is a family run manufacturer, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their clients. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated CNC Flatbed Router Machinist to join their team and help them continue to produce top-tier products.
As a CNC Flatbed Router Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and setting our CNC flatbed routers to create precise and high-quality parts and components. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure all specifications and standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC flatbed routers to produce parts and components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and digital tolerance files.
- Set up and adjust machine settings for various materials and thicknesses.
- Ensure quality control and inspect finished products for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to optimize production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with flatbed routers.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawing.
- Strong understanding of CNC Setting and machine operation.
- Able to lift large pieces of wood on to machines (within H&S guidelines.)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday full-time day shifts.
