Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating turning centers using Fanuc controls. The machines you will work on include Doosan Puma and a Twin Spindle Nakamura lathe. Prior experience with Fanuc programming is essential, and CAD/CAM experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC turning centers with precision and accuracy.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adjust as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating turning centers using Fanuc controls.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Knowledge of tooling and cutting parameters for various materials.

Day-to-day

  • Programming and setting up CNC turning centers.
  • Operating machines to produce high-quality machined components.
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.

Rate and hours

  • The hourly rate will be competitive and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • This role will be full-time, with potential for overtime as needed.
