Your new companyYou will be working for a British manufacturing company who design and build furniture, lighting, fabrics and wallpapers. They are experiencing a period of high growth and are looking for a metal polisher to join the team and assist with production demand. Your new roleThe Thurmaston workshop accommodates several manufacturing processes to complement their rattan manufacturing. The most significant is a dedicated fabrication, patination, assembly and wiring facility. The role will be responsible for the preparation and polishing of brass components to a high standard to then be used in the lighting workshop, ensuring quality and production schedule is maintained. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 2 years of metal polishing experience as well as experience using hand and power tools. You will also need to have had involvement in finishing processes (hot and cold patination). An interest and knowledge of luxury furniture and lighting will be advantageous.
