Milling CNC Programmer
Reporting to: | Production Manager
Location | The role will be based at our manufacturing Site in Leicester.
Hours | Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 & 14:00 to 22:00, rotating weekly with a daily break (Double Day Shift)
Or
Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 to 06:00 with a daily break (Night Shift)
Or
Friday to Sunday/Saturday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00 with breaks (Weekend Shift)

The Role
As a CNC Programmer you will be a pivotalmember of the manufacturing team, ulitising your knowledge or either, 3, 4, or 5 axis CNC Machining skills to optimize programs and machine efficiency.
Experience & Requirements
Main duties include:
Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency
Ability to program and prove out from technical drawings at the machine
Complete small batch work to technical specifications with minimal supervision
Complete first off inspection
Working from technical drawings
Support, develop and mentor other colleagues & departments on technical machining issues
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
At least 2 years in a similar role would be essential
Ability to program CNC Milling Machines
Excellent knowledge of Heidenhain Controls
Attention to detail
Applicants will need to be proactive, able to work on their own initiative and assist other semi-skilled members of the team to reach their maximum potential
Excellent Communication skills
